Why should you follow me in the medium?
If you are reading this article it is because you are in the medium, 100 is a magic number here not because it represents an even number but because here in the medium 100 is the number that gives access to the medium’s partner program.
Why have 100 followers?
The medium has changed the guidelines for joining the partner program, there are two fundamental requirements for a writer to have their stories within the partner program: Have at least 100 followers. Have published a story within the last 6 months.
In short, the partner program allows the writers of the medium to be paid for what they write, in the end, in this program, once proven, you can have your stories monetized, that is, you can be paid for sharing your stories.
You get paid by the number of reads of the stories, clapping also helps as well as you can receive direct donations from the readers.
Now that you know about the partner program let’s get to the question above: why am I asking for your support?
Before answering the question, I would like to share with you beloved reader if I may call you that, my fellow readers, we are all lovers of writing and reading here.
In a city, there was a 15cm plant that stands right in the center of an avenue and thousands of people pass in front of this plant every day, and they don’t water this plant others pass by as if nothing existed.
But there was a humble man named Tony, every saintly day he would pour a little water on the plant whenever he went to work.
This action that seemed like nothing to many people is actually strengthening the plant.
The plant grew and became the most beautiful tree in the city and everyone admired its greatness and beauty:
My people, beloved people who among you watered you, who took care of this tree when it was small?Who really made a difference in the life of this plant?.
And everyone was silent, so in the silence of the crowd emerges Tony the man who for 5 years took care of the plant, which today benefits the whole town and is a source of pride today for everyone.
When asked why he took care of something that seemed so small, he said that his love for the universe and people did not allow him to stop doing what is really good and can take others around him to the next level, the level of abundance.
How about thinking about the following sentence:
“ Do not deny your neighbor good when it is in the power of your hand to do it”.
As I said the number 100 is the magic number, the number that will take me to the next level, you can make a difference in my life by following me so that I can reach this number, the number of followers needed for the program.
You can decide whether it will be Tony or the people in that town who did nothing that could help that plant become a strong and good tree for everyone.
